WHY POCKET NETWORK FOUNDATION NEEDS A DESIGN ORGANISATION
Pocket Network Foundation is heading into a very important phase in the project. Organisations that have built formidable experiences for their audience and users have seen building a design culture as a commitment. From recent organisations like Linear to Alchemy to Polygon Labs. I believe making this commitment early with a reasonable resource commitment won’t hurt the POKT now or in the long term.
There are specific reasons why Pocket Network Foundation need a design organisation which can in summary be:
- Communication and Branding:
- Consistent Messaging: After studying the Pocket Ecosystem for the past few months, I’ve noticed this inconsistencies. I believe the design organisation will take it up on a day to day basis to ensure consistency in visual communication across various teams and materials. This is essential for building a strong and recognizable brand for Pocket Network Foundation.
- Brand Integrity: Within the scope of this workstream, one of the task is to ensure on a daily/weekly basis that the brand guidelines are followed meticulously, maintaining the integrity of the brand in all materials and interactions.
- User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:
- Enhanced User Interaction: I believe a commitment to growing design effort in Pocket Network Foundation dedicated team can focus on creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface for the Pocket Network project, contributing to a positive user experience. Adoption is one thing that has hindered web3 and ensuring designs meet accessibility standards consistently will drive Pocket Further towards it’s ambition
- Continuous Improvement: Regular feedback and updates from the Design Organisation can lead to continuous improvements in the product's design, making it more appealing and user-centric.
- Marketing and Community Engagement:
- Effective Communication: Building this design workstream in Pocket Network Foundation will enable us effectively and consistently create visually engaging marketing materials, making it easier to communicate complex ideas to the community and potential users.
- Community Connection: Designs can be tailored to resonate with the target audience, fostering a stronger connection between the project and its community.
- Project Presentation and Documentation:
- Clarity in Communication: Well-designed presentations and documentation enhance the clarity of information for internal and external stakeholders. In assets like reports, decks, events and spaces presentation etc.
- Professionalism: Professionally designed materials contribute to a positive impression when interacting with potential investors, partners, and users.
- Event Presence:
- Memorable Impressions: At a very fair budget and avoiding long hours of context building the workstream can deliver visually striking materials for events, making the project stand out and leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
- Long-Term Vision and Commitment:
- Building a Design Culture: Establishing a Design Organisation reflects a commitment to building a design culture within the organisation. This commitment can lead to long-term benefits in terms of brand recognition, user loyalty, terminating any chances of creating design debts and building this in a well trackable manner.
- Learning from Successful Models: Looking at the experiences of successful organisations like Linear, Alchemy, and Polygon Labs, a commitment to design has proven to be a valuable investment.
